Rabun County Aerial Snow Pictures
While we were all sliding around on the ground, Scott Poss was flying around North Georgia taking photos of the snow at Lake Burton, Lake Rabun, Sky Valley, Tate City, Clayton, and the mountains all around. Click on the picture below to link to his slideshow, it’s pretty cool!

Rabun County fall colors
I’ll go ahead and declare leaf color in Rabun County to be about 50% as of October 28th. The mountain tops are at full color and the valley regions are starting to turn as shown in this shot of LaPrades Marina taken by Scott on Monday.
House fire on Lake Burton
A home burned on Wildcat at Lake Burton over the past weekend. No cause has been determined yet that we have heard of.
Update: Clayton Tribune is reporting the fire was discovered about noon Monday at 311 E. Wildcat Road. The almost 5,000 s.f. home was a total loss.
Flying over Lake Burton
Took a flying trip around Rabun with Scott Poss the other day, and of course I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures of my listings. This one is located off Meeting House Mountain Rd in a very prominant location.
