Went to the Rainbow Village location and had a very lovely view. Burton Association puts on a beautiful display. Would like to be even a little bit closer next year. Any suggestions?

It’s tough to say in Clayton because you would need to be up really high on a ridge and there are several mountains between the lake and town. My guess is you will see light in the sky but nothing direct. Sorry!

Start cruising some of the major roads around Lake Burton just before dark, Hwy 76 at Burton Bridge, Hwy 197, Charlie Mountain Road, and Bridge Creek, and you’ll see people congregating in popular roadside viewing places. Murray Cove Rd near Rainbow Village has good, up-close visibility. Good luck!

I don’t live on the lake but would like to see the fireworks on Burton. Is there a good place for public viewing? We tried last year at the bottom of the dam on Seed-Burton Road but the trees are too tall to see much of anything but the highest fireworks.
