Kingwood short sale lot closed

Let’s kick this blog off with a closing!  After months of waiting for bank approval from SunTrust, we closed escrow on lot MM104, which looks straight on at the large waterfall in Kingwood Country Club. 

This lot was purchased by the sellers in 2006 for $89,500, and after financial hardship and a lot of supporting paperwork we were able to get an offer of $26,500 accepted.  Don’t worry if you feel like you missed out on the deal because I have just listed the lot MM106 at the top of the waterfall for $35,000, an incredible short sale value these sellers paid $95,000 for.  I’m expecting this one to fly off the market (with bank approval, of course).
